As a partner organisation in this Erasmus+ project, Möjligheternas Plats was proud to represent Sweden at the international Training Course “Strengthening Digital Competences and Inclusive Practices in Youth Work” held in Alanya, Turkey, from 29 April to 6 May 2026.
The training brought together youth workers from eight countries to strengthen their capacity to integrate digital tools, innovative pedagogical approaches, and inclusive practices into their daily youth work.
In today's rapidly evolving digital world, youth workers face increasing challenges in keeping pace with technological developments while ensuring that all young people—including those with fewer opportunities—can benefit from digital learning environments. At the same time, digital spaces provide valuable opportunities for creativity, entrepreneurship, participation, and non-formal learning when used in an inclusive and meaningful way.
Throughout the training, participants explored:
- Digital literacy and digital competence development
- Digital content creation and digital communication tools
- Innovative learning methods and educational technologies
- Youth engagement and entrepreneurial learning
- Inclusive approaches that promote equal participation for all young people The project placed a strong emphasis on inclusion and diversity, demonstrating how digital tools and methods can empower young people from different social, cultural, and economic backgrounds and support their active participation in society.
As a follow-up, Möjligheternas Plats will transfer the knowledge, methods, and tools gained during the training into local youth work activities, workshops, and community initiatives that promote digital competences, creativity, active citizenship, and inclusive participation among young people in Sweden.
Special thanks to trainer Arda for his professionalism, inspiring guidance, and dedication throughout the training.
Warm gratitude also goes to facilitators Boggy and Luca for their valuable contribution, positive energy, and continuous support during the entire learning journey.
We would also like to thank the hosting organisation, project partners, trainers, facilitators, and all participants for an inspiring and enriching international learning experience.
